Privacy notice
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This notice explains what personal information I collect when you use foxandheather.com or send me an enquiry, why I collect it, who it's shared with, and the choices you have.
Who I am
Fox & Heather is run by Anaïs Dussart, sole trader. I'm the "controller" of your personal information. You can contact me about anything in this notice at hello@foxandheather.com.
What I collect
- Your enquiry: when you use the enquiry form, I receive your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you tell me about your trip (number of travellers, dates, duration, budget and description).
- Emails and calls: anything you send me directly, and notes from our conversations while we plan your trip.
- Technical information: your IP address and browser details are processed by my hosting and spam-protection provider when you visit the site or submit the form.
- Advertising measurement (only if you accept cookies): whether you arrived from one of my Google ads and whether you then sent an enquiry.
Why I use it, and the legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and plan your trip, because you've asked me to, as a step towards a contract with you.
- To protect the form from spam and abuse, which is in my legitimate interests in keeping the site secure.
- To measure which ads lead to enquiries, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep business and accounting records if you become a client, to meet my legal obligations.
I don't sell your information, and I don't use it to send you marketing unless you ask me to.
Who it's shared with
I use a small number of trusted providers to run the site and my email. They only process your information on my behalf:
- Cloudflare: hosting, security, the Turnstile spam check on the form, a backup copy of form submissions, and receiving emails sent to hello@foxandheather.com and forwarding them to my inbox.
- Resend: delivers enquiry form submissions to my inbox, and sends the emails I write to you.
- Google (Gmail): hosts my inbox.
- Google: Google Ads conversion measurement (only with your consent).
Some of these providers are based in, or transfer data to, the United States. Those transfers are protected by the UK–US Data Bridge / EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries that don't go ahead: deleted 2 years after our last contact.
- Client records: kept for 6 years after the end of the financial year, as required for tax and accounting records.
- Advertising cookies: see the table below.

Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how I use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email hello@foxandheather.com; I'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please tell me first. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or, if you live in the EU, your local data protection authority, such as the CNIL in France (cnil.fr).
Changes to this notice
If I change how I use your information, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
